March: Book Two (Book Review)

March: Book Two is a continuation of where we left off in Book One. It goes in-depth in showing the events of the civil rights movement, just as the first book did, and it brings to light some of the unsung heroes of the Civil Rights Movement. The artistry of the novel is wonderful, as I’ve spoken on for the first book.

I think this graphic novel is perfect for exposing children to the not-so-pleasant parts of American history. I have given my younger cousins this book to read and they have thoroughly enjoyed it. The oldest is always asking if I have the next one yet. This is definitely not the stuff they teach you during Black History Month.
