I’m enjoying this Women’s History Month theme so far, let me know if you’re loving it, too. This week’s prompt is to present two inspirational quotes from women. It was so hard to first find just two women, then increasingly more difficult to find just two quotes but I enjoyed narrowing the search.
Success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives. – Michelle Obama.

This was the first quote that popped up and it just seemed perfect. Then again, so did every quote on that page. Michelle Obama is such an inspiration and I just love the impact she’s made over this past decade. She was the first lady that I grew up seeing and I’m forever grateful for that.
Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained. – Marie Curie

I remember doing a presentation on Marie Curie for my seventh grade science class. I was not a big fan of science back then, but researching Marie Curie’s life and the resounding impact she left behind was an eye-opening experience.
I’ve read a biography of Mme. Curie~and at least one about each of many others too~but unfortunately I’m not terribly knowledgeable about her.

She was very passionate about her work, I think that’s what makes me remember her so much
