Happy Wednesday, y’all! I hope this week has been treating you well. I’ve been losing track of days lately but writing has brought back some stability.
What are you currently reading?
I actually got through most of last week’s reads so I’ve gotten around to starting this beauty.
When You Were Everything by Ashley Woodfolk
I’m a few chapters in and I really like it so far. It’s very different from what I’ve read in the past. I also love the representation, one of the main characters is Bengali and one of my high school best friends was Bengali so I feel like I’m going to end up connecting with this story all the more.
As of right now, I’m still reading Relationship Goals but I only have a few pages left.
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished 2/3 books this week and I’m honestly so proud of myself for it.
Opposite of Always by Justin A. Reynolds
If you’ve been keeping up with my Twitter, you already know that Jack got me so mad at one point. In the end, I really enjoyed this book and I’m hoping to write out a full review along with some other surprises.
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
I finally got through this one. I feel like I’ve been reading it forever. It definitely started to get more interesting in the second half but the beginning was so slow. I don’t think I’ll be doing a full review for this one. I felt pretty eh about it overall.
What do you think you’ll read next?
The Reading Rush is next week! I have yet to create a TBR for it. I know, I’m a mess but keep in mind that I am a major mood reader. I’ll probably focus on audiobooks for The Reading Rush since those tend to fair better for me during readathons.
I put out a poll for what I should listen to next and Twitter seems to want me to read:
You Should See me in a Crown by Leah Johnson
I’m super excited to start it. I don’t think it fits any of the prompts but I’m pretty sure most of the books I’m picking will fit multiple prompts. Everyone has been raving about it and my library has the audiobook so I’m ready to get into it.
