The Last Last Day of Summer (Book Review)

Comments 4 Standard

Hey y’all! I was actually sent a review copy of The Last Mirror on the Left but after hearing the synopsis for the first book in the series, I decided to buy a copy of The Last Last Day of Summer from Cultured Books (a Black woman owned bookstore). All thoughts are my own, as goes with every one of my reviews.

I’m sure you’ve all been on the edge of your seats waiting for my full thoughts on this series ever since my interview with Lamar Giles. Oh, wait, you weren’t? Well, stick around anyway to see if this might be the story you’re looking to add as an upcoming stocking stuffer.

Hey y’all! This was my first ever buddy read and it did not disappoint. I’ve wanted to read Allegedly ever since I finished Monday’s Not Coming last year but I was also super scared of how it would leave me. Well, I had good reason for that.

This is going to be a no spoilers review and I won’t talk much about the plot because it’s better to know less going into this one.

Hey y’all! So you know how I’ve been screaming about Charming as a Verb ever since I heard about it? Well, I decided to check out Ben Philippe’s first book to mull me over until I got my hands on that new release.

I listened to the audiobook of The Field Guide to the North American Teenager via the CloudLibrary app well over a month ago but I’ve been trying to figure out how to put my many feelings into words. This is going to be that attempt.
