For this first prompt, I’m throwing it back quite a bit. The first book I chose was March by John Lewis. It’s the book that taught me about the unsung heroes of the civil rights movement.
And the second one is a book I read sooo long ago. I was probably in elementary school or something but I remember loving it. I learned so much about World War II by reading Under the Blood Red Sun by Graham Salisbury.
This year started out pretty well as far as blogging goes. I posted daily for the first two weeks straight and I still posting quite regularly after that. I published a total of 27 posts this month!
Blogging Goals Update:
Earlier this month, I posted my Reading + Blogging Goals for the year. So far, I’ve been doing really well with the blogging goals. I’ve been posting pretty consistently. I’m hoping to keep that consistency going.
I also started my Bookstagram. My username is Raethereviewer if you want to follow me. You can also find it on the sidebar of my blog. Make sure to comment on a post for a follow back!
I want to make Two for Tuesday into a real tag this year, so I’m setting up the prompts, starting for next month. If you’re interested in participating, please comment below and link back to me in your posts. I will be making an official list of the participants and I plan on linking back to everyone’s posts each week.
So last Monday, my best friend and I went to World of Thrift. As the book nerd I am, I went with the sole intention of finding some bargain books. They just renovated and the book section was really nice. I didn’t take the best pictures while I was there, so I’ll just include pictures of the haul.
So these past two weeks, I’ve been posting end of the week recaps. I had been posting daily during that week. It wasn’t even on purpose, it just kind of happened. This week, I didn’t post on Wednesday, so that ended the 14+ day streak.
I think I’ll still post these at the end of busy weeks.
