This year started out pretty well as far as blogging goes. I posted daily for the first two weeks straight and I still posting quite regularly after that. I published a total of 27 posts this month!
Blogging Goals Update:
Earlier this month, I posted my Reading + Blogging Goals for the year. So far, I’ve been doing really well with the blogging goals. I’ve been posting pretty consistently. I’m hoping to keep that consistency going.
I also started my Bookstagram. My username is Raethereviewer if you want to follow me. You can also find it on the sidebar of my blog. Make sure to comment on a post for a follow back!
Things I did this month:
I know last week I said that I wouldn’t be keeping up with this whole posting every day thing. I don’t know how, but it happened again. I posted for another week straight. That’s two consecutive weeks of posts!
It may not seem like a big deal, but this is the most active I’ve been in my near four years of having this blog. This is also my first week back in school, so I’ve somehow managed to keep writing posts while trying to figure out which classes to keep and which to drop.
I’m sure this streak is going to end pretty soon, but until then, here’s a recap of this week’s post. Let me know if you like these weekly recaps so I can keep doing them, even when I don’t post every day. Click the links to check them out.
This week, I did something that I’ve never done before. I posted every day for a week straight. That being said, these posts were scheduled in advance, but still, that’s a major accomplishment for me. This is probably going to be a one time thing, but it felt great having something new out every day.
I also changed my site theme in the wee hours of the night. I felt like Scratchpad wasn’t cutting it anymore. I switched over to the Floral and Fauna theme. Make sure to let me know what you think of the change in the comments.
Here’s a recap of this week’s posts, in case you’ve missed anything:
This year has been great in so many ways. I finally started taking my blog seriously, I graduated high school, and I’m now in a wonderful university. I’ve tried so many new things this year and branched out of my comfort zone numerous times.
Of the 23 books I read this year, I gave nine of them five stars. Click on the titles to be sent to my official review.
My Five Star Reads:
I didn’t surprise myself this month. I ended up not reading a single one of the books on my TBR. I don’t think TBR’s work for me, especially since I’m more of a mood reader. I just have to be in the right mood to read a particular book.
Just because I didn’t read books from my TBR, doesn’t mean I didn’t read this month.
I read a grand total of (drum roll please):
